My WHY…

In 2020 my Nana passed away from an infection and some complications. She was in the hospital about 8-weeks prior to her passing and due to restrictions at the time she was unable to be visited by family. After getting better and then declining she chose to go home and spend her last days surrounded by family.

She offered me the greatest gift ever in those last days and moments of her passing and then in the dance with grief that came to follow her loss.

The dance continues, even as I sit to write this I am filled with the deepest gratitude to her and the gift that she continues to be.

What she opened up in me was a purpose I did not know existed, her passing showed me the way to death work and it is in this work that I feel most alive in walking my dharma.

To be a bridge from this life into the next, to be a safe space for processing grief, and to return ritual and ceremony to the world of death.
